Studying CS & ENGP @ Tulane

The name's André Rincón Luna — though Andre is just fine. I'm from the greater Atlanta area. I've studied Computer Science and Engineering at Tulane University in New Orleans.

I like to work with the web and the full stack. From design and development to data and devops. I work mostly with Python and Javascript, but I have experience in Ruby, C, C++, and MATLAB.

I've collected some of my previous work below, but you can also find me on GitHub and LinkedIn—or you can email me at arinconl@tulane.edu!

My Work

Sound Sculpture Analysis

September 2018 — May 2019

Python powered API leveraging the Finite-Element-Anaylsis of CalculiX to optimize 2D shapes as bell plates. These plates are optimized with respect to initial geometry, desired frequency and material. Built with Docker Containers, the API may be accessed through curl commands, or through the included Vue frontend.

TUnav

November 2018 — May 2019

TUnav is a web app with the goal of helping Tulane Students, Faculty, and Affiliates find their way on campus. Features services to gather building and event data from Tulane's club calendar. Buildings are searchable according to official and colloquial names, while events are made easier to find and navigate to.
